Reflection- Week 7

Tiffo here again,

   The week was again another interesting one, I am sure your saying you hear this so often. Edet is really a fun and interesting course although it is sometimes challenging but I must say I am able to tamper and complete tasks. It is doing what I like so the work is almost effortless (ALMOST) :)

      This week in my classes I learnt about the ASSURE MODEL this is a unique way to create a lesson plan for your class, it covers all the areas students are suppose to be exposed to and also give a more indepth plan of the lesson. This again was something new for me, I do have prior experience in writing lesson plans however the ASSURE MODEL is quite different. I experimented with it and I created a lesson on my own first then together with my group members, our lesson was about transportation. It is important for teacher to plan prior to a lesson because it allows for smooth functioning and flowing of the lesson, it also allows the teacher to realize errors before she approaches the class. In my opinion planning a lesson makes a lesson very effective.

     The week continued and we were challenged even more as the task was to create a movie in WINDOWS LIVE MOVIE MAKER. I surely had fun experimenting movie maker as this again was something new for me. My group collect our pictures and then together we created our little movie on transportation and yours truly was the appointed voice on this movie. So hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm let me go back we created a movie using movie maker but added audio created in audacity (yhhhhh i kno totally cool). The movie maker is definitely one of the software I will b utilizing often in my classroom.

Again Edet is a very interesting course and I am enjoying every minute of it.
