Reflection week 3

Aloha... followers,

  This week of class was super cool and EXCITING (as usual), I am so getting the hang of this. 

Oh wait..... lets pause...  I am a DIGITAL NATIVE. The task in our class on Monday was to complete a few simple instructions given to us then identify oneself as a digital native or a digital immigrant. I am using technology 24/7 hmm unless I am sleeping that is.

 I was led to reading a very interesting article where a professor was not so 21st century ready and didn't even own a smart phone it was quite interesting I must say. 

Wednesday's class was a little bit more challenging as we were given instructions to follow only by reading and using our own interpretation to complete each task we were placed into groups to do so collaboratively and this definitely was a plus since there was some minor difficulties. At the end of the lesson we presented on what we researched which was input and output, hardware and software. We also discussed the pro's and con's of teacher made aids vs computer made aids.

All in all this class is getting more and more interesting as we are learning more about technology and the use in the classroom. 

We are all getting on board so we don't get left behind in the 21st century.
